I have a 2003 350 Rancher, do I need to adjust the valves, if so how hard is it? Would it be done cold? Thanks for the help.

leave the machine overnight in the garage, and dont start it up until you have the process done. Get a service manual, it will tell you how to do it with pictures and stuff, and i think that machine is .006" for clearance so you'll have to get a feeler guage set with a .006" blade.

Valve adjustment on a Honda is at the break-in service which is 20hrs/100mi and then every 100hrs/600mi after that. It takes about 30-45 minutes start to finish. If your going to buy a manual, get the Honda OEM. Its a little more money but 10 times better than aftermarket.
