flip shocks

Default flip shocks

just need to know if i flip my front shocks up side down will i hurt anything, just traing to make ajustment on shocks faster on a 2001 ds

I have never seen it done.
Why would you do it?
If there were advantages to doing it, it would be done this way from factory.....JMO.

well dont feel bad maxbomer. i know exactly what you are saying. as for things coming from the factory as they should be i dont know about that. if that were the case the ds would come from the factory about a hundred pounds lighter[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] anyway i would not recomend flipping the shocks . i have thought about it too but will never do it. if you do decide to do it let us know the results

i will go ahead and flip them, i will let you know the results bombsaint, by the way cpaul it looks like you have a 2002 model with the shock ajustment on top, older models have the ajustment between the a arms, i do alot of track and drag racing on the same day just need to be quiker on my ajustments.bombsaint is correct, if the factory is perfect ,y buy aftermarket .

I flipped mine last year and the only thing was when i was riding wheelies the spring on the shock would rub the a arm a little but only on full extension of the suspension, just mu .02
