I just need to know some pro's and cons about the following quads: '06 TRX 450R, '03 'Shee, '06 Raptor 700. I can't decide which one to get. I want something that will wheelie pretty easy at particularly slower speeds like 1st or 2nd gear so i can ride them out. I also want it to be able to blow away a 400 ex and a quadracer. The '03 banshee will put me back 3500. and the other two i can get financed for by my local Honda/yamaha dealer. I really like the way the 700 sits up with the suspension and width of it. It looks aggressive and very nice. I haven't seen th trx 450R yet, but i hear they too look about the same of the 700. Which one would win in a 100 ft drag, 200 ft drag and a 400 ft drag?
the banshee has pipes, boost bottle, k&n filter, reeds, and that's about it.
The two others are stock because i'll be getting them off the showroom floor. Or at least brand new. I need some help here guys, thanks.

What kind of riding will you mostly be doing? If your in the woods, you'll hate the banshee. They don't handle nearly as good at the other two and have pretty much no bottom end. On the other hand, get it wound up in the higher gears and there is no machine that's as fun to ride as the banshee. I haven't even seen the new raptor so I won't even try to comment on it. Depending on your size, the 450 may too small. I'm 5'8" and it fits me like a glove. Awesome handling and power, I don't think you'll be sorry w/ this machine unless you need reverse which the Honda doesn't have. How mechanically inclined are you? Depending on much you ride, the Banshee will need pistons replaced every so many hours. Its a two stroke, easy to tear down the top end but there are also two of everything that need replacing. All of these machines will probably be fairly close in a drag and all of them will leave the 400ex in the dust.

i'm 200 pounds, 5 ft 11. And we don't have any trails here in north eastern montana, just open territory and loads of launchers. U can open a dirt bike up in 5th gear all the way around here. then we got tons of short steep hills to have fun on. But yea, thats about it. Just open fields, jumps and hills.

Since I've owned both a Raptor and a Banshee... Buy the Raptor or the 450R. You just don't see people riding slow wheelies on the Banshee, because it's nearly impossible. It doesn't have the low end grunt needed for that. The Banshee doesn't handle all that well. It's front heavy and the suspension hasn't been upgraded since it came out, although they did change a-arms early on. Now, there's bound to be some wannabe saying they can ride wheelies on their Banshee all day long. All I gotta say is post the vids...
You can't beat a 4 stroke for ease of use and plain old trail riding. But if you were only going to haul **** in the sand... Then we'd be having another discussion. The Banshee is still a heck of a dune quad.
