Default Which Service / Repair Manual ?

Which service should I buy a factory honda or clymer manual for my 00 rancher.
The clymer is about half price but which is more thorough? I know i had some haynes and Chilton manuals for cars but they were not to helpful Is the CLymer like that?
I need lots of pictures cause I am not familar with much anything mechanical.

thanks

Get the Clymer manual. It is more thorough, more pictures, and it's cheaper.

The clymer is more for the weekend mechanic. It has lots of detailed instructions, where the factory manual leaves out the small details, because they assume a professional is using it.
You wont be disapointed, get the clymer.

I got the factory manual when I got my Foreman, but mainly because it was a new to the market and that was the only choice.

Honda manuals are better than some of the other factory manuals I've had, but I also like Clymer manuals. They often show procedures to get something done using readily available tools, whereas the factory manual often says "using special tool #421-23"...

The tool will be high priced, and something you would likely only need once in your life...
