You got one of your facts right. There is a recall, but not ALL of the 2000 Ranchers are on it. Look at the Vin #'s given, it is there early production 2000 models and early 2001. Besides the id # given from Honda only goes to the YA's on the vin, There where a lot more made than that.

you would have to be pretty retarded to not realize that your brake disc was not on the inside of the caliper. Jesus Christ

i got a letter saying not to ride mine until I had it checked.... I mean.... duh. how freakin stupid are some people!

Alaskaweasel i do hate to break it to ya but on my recall notice it did say that ALL 2000 ranchers are under the recall and some of the 2001's are.

According to the recall notice that I read, only selected VIN's were affected by the recall. My Rancher, for example was not. I verified this with my dealer.

I believe that alaskaweasel is right on this one.

I brought mine in last thursday, I must say it was a clean looking bracket that was added. It didn't look like a poorly contrived after thought, as I thought it might. Also my dealer said that all 2000 Ranchers, and some 2001's would be recalled. Obviously this doesn't include any 2000 Ranchers that were involved in the first recall 6 or 8 months ago.

Read it again, it say Honda All Terrain Vechiles or as in: ATV not ALL honda Ranchers are on recall. Sorry, but if you look at there website if that is all the vin#'s for all of 2000 ranchers there is going to be a lot more problems than just A arm frames.
