Repairing Cracked Plastic
#2
My only suggestion is to drill holes parallel to the cracks and cris cross zip ties like you tying shoes it looks like a bunch of "X" It will never look like new but it will keep them from flapping around. Or you could just cut your fenders off... who needs them anyways. Good luck.

I got a plastic repair kit from Rocky Mountain. It works ok if you take your time. By ok I mean your plastic will stay together but it will take some time to keep your plastic from looking like a$$ where it's broken but it's better than tape or glue. Rocky mountain calls it a plastic welding kit.

There aren't a whole lot of products that will stick to polyethelene to repair it. It can be welded with a plastic welder. they take raw P.E. sticks and weld it into the break. there are some colored sticks available but I don't know how good of a match you'd get. If you find someplace that does the welding you can use your old front fenders or scraps you cut off the rears for the welding rod and it would be the right color.

Glad I could help. I got mine for christmas last year from the inlaws. It works but nothings as good as new plastic. I would try crazypainters idea about the same color plastic if you have some avaliable.

Get a decent size soldering iron and shave a sliver of plastic of somwhere you wont see it to use as a filler rod.
Then with the required amount of skill and patiance tyou can weld it back together.
Really strong if done right.
