mx racing question

Default mx racing question

should i use skid plates for mx racing?

skid plates wont help you out any for racing. you wont be draging over any rocks or anything like that. shid plates will only add more weight and slow you down.

Default mx racing question

A full chassis skidplate helps out a lot for MX racing. If you land on the apex of a jump, intead of the frame digging into the dirt, you will simply glide across it like a big ski. That's why full chassis skid plates are sometimes called glide plates. I have one.....would'nt race without it!

It wouldn't be a bad idea to do what 1bad250R said, but other than that I wouldn't run any.
