i am getting one of these for trail rides and mud(all i could aford) which one??????????????????????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????????

Get the Honda Recon. It has a little bit of a bigger engine, it is more reliable in the long run, and the rear tires on the Recon get so much traction for a 2WD quad, it's unbelievable.

 

They both have the same size motors 229cc.Can't see one having much over the other.Suzuki and Artic Cat have the lardest 2wd utility 250 motor at 246cc and a Trail boss is in the same price range as all these 250s and it's a 325cc but it's chain drive.

 

We test drove both. The Honda engine develops more power than the Bear tracker. The ergonomics on the Honda are better.

Test drive both & see which one you like the best.
