Default How to make drivechain adjustment on 400EX

Does anyone here know how to make an adjustment to the Drivechain on a 2003 400ex? I've got a new sprocket and chain, but the chain is a half link too long and I need to pull the rear axle back to tighten the chain. Is there an instructional out on the interent that I can refer to or can someone here walk me thru it?

thanks!

The chain adjustment on the Hondas are the easiest to adjust in the industry. Loosen up the allen bolts on the back of the swing arm and turn the adjuster next to the rear sprocket, forward to loosen chain, back to tighten.

Long 6mm allen wrench. There should be one in your factory toolkit if it came with your quad.

Make sure you loosen the 4 6mm allen bolts at the back of the swingarm and then pry it apart some with a regular screw driver.

I got it, I just used a large screw driver and a hammer and tapped it clockwise to tighten the chain just right. Thanks for the QUICK help! I had to get this thing running for the snow we just got hammered with here in New Jersey!
