Default Blew up my Raptor!

Hey all. long time since i posted, but i need help! I was out riding my quad in the snow, everything was working perfectly, then all of a sudden it feels like im in nutrel! i shift through a few gears, all nothing, then i shut off the quad and look at my chain and my sproket poped off the countershaft and theirs tons of oil everywhere. i got towed home and i looked at it and i cant see any real damage! i took the sproket allthe way off and the chain, and when i start the quad, oil comes out from around the countershaft. Is their a seal their that i could of blown? did i crack the cases from the sproket poping off? do i need to buy new cases? or is their a seal in their? please help! thanks!

There are two seals. One (an O ring) on the shaft itself and then there is an oil seal pressed into the case. It's an easy fix as long as there is no case damage from the chain and sprocket spinning around off the shaft. Pull out the round metal sleeve that slides over the shaft and into the case. There is also a metal ring that has two bolts that help hold the oil seal in place, take that off. The oil seal is behind the metal ring. Replace them both and you should be good to go. If you don't have a manual, check the web page in my signature, the manual will help understand where everything is at etc.
