Default help me out please( i need a picture)

Ok so i have been having carb issues.. will someone take off the bowl of your carb and take a picture of the accelerator pump spring for me please.?

yea i need to get that spring.. any idea about how long it is? is it soft or hard to compress?

Believe it or not, the spring out of a 'click click' pen is a perfect replacement. Definitely easier to find a pen than it is to find the spring in a hardware store.

i know but i have like 50 or so odd pens here and all of the springs are different.. i was going to do that but i need to know how long the spring is..

I ebayed my stock carb, so I can't take any measurements, but the size isn't that crucial. As long as it fits over the little bump on the end of the plunger, and is about 1" - 1 1/4" long it should work fine. Pick one, put it in, and see if it's working properly by taking off the plastic side cover. If the plastic arm pushes the plunger down when you open the throttle, and the plunger pops back up when the throttle is released it'll work fine.

lol maybe that's y it doesn't work.. cause it doesn't come back up... o well that's what i get for letting my cousin work on my quad...
