i was looking over my atv on monday and noticed some gear oil on my passenger side front cv shaft right were it meets the diff housing so i wiped it off figuring it might just be left over from when i had my breakin service done but it returned so i called the dealer and brought it in and they told me the seal was gone but i also told them that my dash would read E sometimes when i was shifting gears??? and the bike would go into gear it was inbetween gears so when they called they told me the seal was being replaced but it would be a few more days so not sure what there doing but i figured i would let everyone know so they can check theres or if your having the same problems with your shifter probably just a fluke thing but cant be too cautious dont want to blow anything out

i have had my new 06 400 4x4 auto for a few weeks and i have noticed the same thing in regards to "E" readout on the dash. Mine is going in soon for the breakin checkouot, so i will definitely have them check into it. If i find anything out, i will let everyone know here. Thanks for the heads-up.

Get ouotside and ride!!!!

Your local Cat dealer should be able to do it. It`s a free update.
