any problems with the 700 raptor?

Default any problems with the 700 raptor?

I courious to know if there have been any flaws with this years new raptor? Ie starters and trannies?

nope no problems here man nice azz machine my problems- i cant stop buying parts to mod it out more and more LOL [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

havent had any problems with mine, exelent machine!!!

herd one guy had a problem, bad casting or something like that.
he went round and round with them, eventualy got a new one.

thats the only thing i'v herd so far.

i've been looking at the proarmor nerfbars and wanted to see them on a 700 before i bought them. i've been after proarmor since dec. for some photos.
could you send some more shots of them??

where did you get them?how much?

same here i have been waiting for the nerfs from pro aromor since dec. I first paid for the Fat Peg Nerf Bars but i waited for 2 months and they just kept saying next week there coming in I shopped every where for the pro armor nerfs the best place who cares them is the one and only "CHPARRAL" but i never got the fat pegs they look much better but know one has them there was 10 people on hold for them but pro armor was not making them cause they did not have the aluminum to make the pegs but there still making

I dont think there is a problem with the bike. I think the way Yamaha and the magazines originally advertised the bike as compensating for intake and exhaust mods was flat out wrong. An aftermarket programmer is required.

This is a great handling, torquey bike.

The idea that the bike "compensates" for a change in airflow without adjusting the EFI is wrong. However, the factory EFI is set to run rich enough to survive a significant increase in airflow without destroying the engine by burning too lean. This is not compensation and it is certainly not optimization, but I would imagine it is the source of the idea that new exhausts can be added without adjustments to the EFI. Don't know for sure. I'm no expert.
