Default need some help with my panterra 90 URGENT

ok, heres my 2 problems, my chain and my engine. My chain won't stop poooing off while im out riding and even when i tighten it it comes off. my rear sprocket is bent at about a 1 degree angle cuz the weld my friend did on it wasnt quite perfect but it just keeps falling off.I want to make or possibly buy a tensioner that i can get a pro welder to weld on there for me so that my chain doesnt pop off on me any more back in the trails. i dont know anybody else that has a quad that does this.any suggestions on how i should fix that? And my engine...i like to go on all the trails that my friends go on because i made most of them but i have to cross a creek (its actualy the twelve mile river) and sometimes i just have too much torque and i totaly get my quad swamped with water. i need a waterproofed engine or maybe even just water resistant. is there any kits i cn use to help me out with this or any home-made ideas you guys have found out that work?
