Hey everyone i got a ? i would like to kno, if i bought a DG silencer if i could attatch that to my stock header on my 2001 yamaha blaster....if not could you recommened some other silencers that i could do that with thanks everyone please get back to me.....Later

 

Are you talking about one of those universal DG pipes??, I would go with something that's made to fit, a wrong size exhaust is a pain to seal. FMF sells one for your quad, it's the Powercore 2 silencer, it might be a little more money but at least its made to fit and it might make your quad perform better.

 

so if i buy a Powercore 2 silencer it would fit on my blaster stock header? .....hey thx for the help

 

Why not buy a complete system? Most of the extra power made in an aftermarket exhaust is going to come from the expansion chamber/head pipe on a Blaster. If you trashed the stocker and need a replacement I would just e-bay it or something.

 

yeah well right now i dont have enough money and i wanted to kno ifi would buy it that if i could just attatch it to my old header and if itwould work......

 

If you want to buy a whole system eventually, I would just wait until you have the dough and do it all at once. That way you will have a choice of manufacturers, in case you find a sweet deal on something else.

 

yeah i could but if i did just by that could i put it on without an aftermarket header
