Default '01 Warrior willn't start

Just last year my Warrior decided that it didn't want to start anymore. Thought it was my battery, so I charged it. It started right up and I thought end of story. Wrong. Back to not starting, so bought a new battery, still didn't fix the problem. When hitting the ignition button, I would hear "buzzing/clicking" under the left rear fender. Replaced the celloid there. Same result, quad willn't start. So somewheres there's a short or something. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions. Thanks

Did you take all the heavy cables for the starter and battery off, and clean the terminals? It's easy for these connections to get dirty, wet, and corroded, and cause a bad connection that will make the solenoid buzz.

If all the connections are clean, disconnect the cable from the starter, and put tape over the end or something so it doesn't touch any metal and short out. Then turn the key on and hit the starter button. If it still buzzes you have a short somewhere, if it doesn't buzz i'd put my money on the starter causing the problem.

well i have had this problem with both my warriors by 2000 back in like 2002 and my 2003 back in 2004...

what i found out to be happend both times.. was my starter was friend.. the brushes stuck.. and burned it up... pull the 2 bolts out that hold the starter on.. and then take it out.. try to turn it over.. and if u want pull the 2 bolt out taht hold it 2gether.. both mine smelled really bad.. and yea it was gone...

Except "willn't" is a made up hillbilly word, not a real word. "Won't" is a real word, and is what us more edumacated people use.
