kodiak rolls to one side
#1
Could someone help me out if they have heard of this before. My 04 kodiak that i just bought a month ago seems to sit crooked. when looking at it from the back the right side rear fender and rack is lower than the left side. does anyone know what may cause this or how to fix it. I dont notice it while riding it only looking at it on level ground. the preload on the front shocks is set the same and there is only one shock in the back above the swingarm. thanks for any info.

Tire pressure is the same all four tires. The rack is not parallel to the rear axle. The right side is about two inches lower than the left. i'm going to check it again with someone sitting on it to see if it makes a difference. Is there some way to check if the frame is bent. I have looked it all over and dont see what could cause it to sit so crooked. I thought it might be something broke on the suspension. Any suggestions?

put a level on it... see how bad it leans... then look at things individually... the rack... the plastics... the mounts for the plastics... look for any kind of bends/kinks and then check to see if they match up to the "good" side....

Yeah, i'd start by taking the racks and fenders off. Look for bends, cracked paint, and rust on the frame and racks.

If your rack is bent you would see that by doing the following. Take the rack off turn it upside down and slide it on a work bench with the back of the rack against the edge of the bench. If the rack is bent it will not lay flat on the bench. Tweek as necessary till rack lays flat on bench then check rack mounts to bolt holes and bend as needed.
