street legal quads
#2
I didn't think could you make a 2-stroke street legal. The government banned 2-stroke street vehicles (like the Yamaha RZ350) in the mid 80's. So to get around it maybe you could try using a quad built before the ban. (But I think the ban started before the banshee was first put into production) Or you could try to convince them that your banshee is a 4-stroke.
Then you have do stuff like get DOT approved tires, get signals, mirrors, big ugly bumpers. Try checking with your DMV for more information. I think it would be more work than what it is worth. And I don’t think a banshee would make a good commuter. But if you get one together tell us how it goes.
