While putting my 02 raptor back together, I unfortunately tightened the 2nd oil line onto the oil tank and stripped it. It is real tight right now but after riding it for a while there is oil leaking a little bit onto the outside of the tank. Other than getting a new line and tank, are there any other ways of fixing this leak?

 

Only thing I can think of requires you to back off the nut and Locktite it. Once you back it off you risk damaging the threads further though.
