#1
Hi All
Here we go again,
I think I need to rebuild my brake master cylinder have ordered a new rebuild kit.
Problem is
1 do not have brakes when I pull lever
2 have dot 4 in it
3 tried to bleed used one bottle? still no brakes
4 well get some braking if I pump the lever?
5 After pumping lever air come up to the top of the reservoir.
So rebuild master.
Any thing I should know or is it as easy as 123. Big Thanks

ive had mine rebuilt 6 times (warrenty) and they finally started working when i put new brake pads on. i did everything you said above and they would work for about 5 minutes. a friend has had his 06 H1 for 2 weeks and they stopped working. arctic cat needs to fix it. on top of that my foot brake never worked.

Ok so I have the new part?
No one has ever changed one of these? What about you Bear? Any thing I need to know as to not screw it up? Looks easy?
I have been reading on here and see there are tons of problems with the AC brakes. I took my foot brake off over a year ago never worked I tried to adjust it but, that turned out to be just extra weight. By hand brake has always been so so now it's no go. My wife has the 04 ac and them there new brakes are good .....for now will have to see? She only has about Ha Ha 600 miles on it.

The only two bigggiesare; 1. To keep every thing clean. If the fluid in the system is dirty, bleed the system until clean fluid shows up. 2. When doing a kit, lube all the pieces with clean fluid before install and if replacing the master cylinder, put fluid in it before you move the piston.
