warrior exhaust bolt removal?

Default warrior exhaust bolt removal?

hello just a quick question im thinking about taking my exhaust system of my 2000 warrior to paint was wondering about by the cylinder head if the bolts break easy taking them off? figured i would ask before i went out and tried and broke them. thanks

I haven't had any trouble taking the bolts off and I have done it 3 or 4 times. If your having trouble just hit it with some lube and you should be fine.

thanks i will spray it down off and on for a couple of days i was thinking with all the high heat off and on for all these years it would be a pain and would suck if i broke one.

Yes, they can get very weak and brittle from all the heat cycles they go through. If it seems stuck at all, spray it with some penetrating lubricant and let it soak for a while, then try it again. It's worth it for the extra precautions, they can be a real hassle to get fixed when they break off.

mines an 87 and i didnt have any problems with it breaking...just be careful and u should be just fine...lots of wd-40 though.
