I was wondering how the best way too wash your quad when trying to sell it. Is a powerwasher good? Does it take off the stickers? can you steam clean it? Help!

If you use a powerwasher, it will take the stickers off in no time, at least the ones you want to keep. It seems nothing will take off those warning stickers. I suggest taking all of the plastic off of the quad and wash it with a sponge and some car soap. As for the rest of the bike, you can get to the nooks and crannies easier with the plastic off. Get some soap, some degreaser and a couple of rags and mix with ample amounts of elbow grease and water. If you are dead set on using a powerwasher, don't get too close, especially near the seals that are protecting your bearings. I have heard that the powerwasher will force dirt past the seals and into the bearings, greatly decreasing their life.
Remember, after washing the bike, lube it back up.

FMFblaster1586, Don't power wash, it's more damage than clean. I keep my traxter in the mud room and I wanted it extra clean for storage so here's what I did.

1. Washed it slowly with water only, for mud.
2. 3 washings with soap and water (bucket wash). Even after 3 different washings I still had mud.
3. removed the tires, skidplate and any easy plastic.
4. Then I put it on a lift and washed from the bottom. The lift was only 24inches high but I could get up underneath so it worked. Tipping it to one side was to unstable.
5. Hey any cleaner and you have a showroom model.
Fiqured it's the least I could do for my quad and my wife.

Take care

For those of you that want an easier clean up after each ride, here's what you do. Spray your machine down with Pam. That's right, I said Pam, the cooking spray. Watch how easily that mud, dirt and grime comes off after you get done riding if you sprayed it with Pam first.

I've been power washing my ATVs since 1983 and have never had NO problems with anything related to the power washings. After a good washing,I spray the ENTIRE quad down with a product from my Bro's Bodyshop called ''DO ALL''.It makes the plastic like brand new and will add $$ to its selling price as well.It hides all the scratches really well,

I just run mine into the lake or through a rocky stream to get the mud off. I figure its easier on the machine than powerwashing....and more fun too!
