hi i wonder if any one has had this same problem. i have a yamoto 150 04 model and when started some times it would start up with a miss fire and then it would go and it will be ok. but the other day i startedit and it ran for a while ticking over and then it stalled and i tried to start it again and it would not go so i tried again and then i thought i would try look at spark and it did not have one ? have tried every conection and cleaned them all even the stater plate and inner magneto but still no spark i changed the plug for a ngk and it has run fine till now. i have checked the coil for live pulse when turning over with a power probe and it did not light the probe up. dont know what else to try please can some one help.

 

Hows it going the first thing you should try is the ignition module located at the left rear frame side , it kinda looks like a back-up beeper module . There should be two black modules the one with the back-up beeper only has two wires and the ignition module has five or six if im not mistaken.Other then that your looking for a broken wire somewhere. take care, LTM
