Default Tapered vs twin row vs double wide??

Which is the better bearing carrier to buy ? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? My machine mostly sees the woods and fire roads. I am looking for which one will require less bearing changes.

PS the machine this would be for a 87 250R

Thanks

I forget where I saw it but there was a big write up on this awhile back and it really went into some good detail about the advantage and disadvantages of both tapered and dual row bearing carriers. I believe most people agreed that the tapered bearing was the best. Try a search.

I like the tapered, because I like to set pre-load on bearings. With the sealed roller bearings, they spin as they are. If you get one of these, I would say a dual row. 4 bearings would have to be better than 2????? RIGHT?
