So, I ordered the SUNL 70cc from Raceway for my son. Delivery was very fast. So far I'm very impressed. I have just a few questions for those in the know. I'm not real mechanically inclined, but I'm learning, so please bear with me.

First, I can't seem to find the VIN number on this thing. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Next, the battery charger that came with the unit....it appears to be a trickle charger. It shouldn't hurt to leave it on for long periods of time right?

Changed the engine oil out. Doesn't appear to have an oil filter. That right?

On the bottom of the engine there appears to be 2 drain plugs. Does the transmission have it's own oil? What kind is it? Should it be changed right away?

Thank you everyone for you assistance. I'm very excited about this new adventure and I hope to learn a lot from it.

don't remember if their is a vin number, the battery charger that came with the quad is a .6 charger, you don't want to keep it on this charger all the time it can over charge the battery, if you worried about keeping the battery charged then you need a battery tender which will charge then shuts off automaticly cost is around $30.00 . thats right no filter, the oil drail plug is the 17mm bolt, on the right side of the bottom of the engine, the engine and transmission shares the engine oil, use 10-30 weight, you need to change it before riding the first time and appox 10 hours after the first change.

Bill,

Thank you very much for the information. This quad is amazing for a cheapy. It hauls my big butt around just fine, and my son is having a ball on it. 10 hours of ride time on a oil change? Is this just the second one (after the shipping oil change)? What's the standard between oil changes after that? I put 10-30 in it...so I did go there. I've not had any problems with the battery yet, so I"ll not worry about it.

Thank you again for the information.
