Are you strictly wanting to buy new? If even slightly used, you could get a really nice 400ex or Z400 for less than 5k.

The Rappy 350 would make for a good trail machine with some mud, they are pretty reliable and it should last you a very long time if you buy it new.

i would go for a 400ex, Z, or KFX

the raptor 350 will be a nice machine but if ur willing to spend that much on it you mise well upgrade even more because a Z-400 is a really nice all around machine and it'll work better then the 350 power wise

I know that a few years back a few friends when in and gave $10,000 for two brand new z 400's. They well worth the money.

With the 4 years of experience that you have, I would go for a 400ex or Z400.

The Z400 is the best bike in that price range. I bought an 2004 Z in late 2005 for $4,800 Brand New. I would call around to some of your local dealers and see if they have any deals like the one i got. The 400ex is a great bike also.

Z400 (or clone) or a Honda 400ex.

I'll have to agree that the Z400 is a better choice. The Raptor 350 motor is very outdated(like almost 20 years). But very reliable. The Z has much better suspension, lighter, faster, much faster. It's worth the extra $.
