With your experience, age, and price range, I am with the "get a 400" crowd.

 

i would say a 300-400 range motor would do you good, not to fast but more than enough power

 

Even though a raptor 350 would outlive you, I would go for a z because a raptor won't be much faster than your blaster. A z would be a good step up.

 

A Raptor 350 is only a small step up from a blaster (but its still a great machine), if I were you with a couple yrs of expierence already I would go for a 400ex its more time proven than the Z-400/KFX 400 although the Raptor 350 is the most time proven of them all. If you go w/ the 400ex you will be happy.

 

Ive road both the z and the 350 and I would go with the z they have way more power and much better suspension also the z are liquid cooled compared to air cooled. Also look at the artic cat 400 and the kawi 400 they
are the exact same bike with different plastics you might find one of those cheaper than the z.
