How do I decode the VIN to find out the year

How do I decode the VIN to find out the year

I was told the warrior I bought is a 99 but before ordering parts I want to make sure. So does anyone know how to tell from the VIN?

87-89 are the same and 90-04 is the same(unless it is electrical)

what is the tenth digit?

i know the codes... lol Y is 2000 1 is 01 2 is 02 3 is 03 and so on... X is 99 .

i found a .PDF with them and since then if i don't know i just reference that.
