warrior tap can't find

Default warrior tap can't find

i have an 02 warrior just rebuilt entire engine runs great last weekend it started to tap in the head. tore it apart couldn't find any wear marks or metal. onlt taps when running wont tap if i spin over by hand anyone have any idea what it could be?

Did you check your valve clearances after it started to click? Check to make sure the adjuster bolts are not pitted and giving a false reading. Also have a close look at your timing chain tensioner.

clearances are all good no marks on any ting that shouldn't be there. put new chain and tensioner on when re built.
