Have an Idea but would like more for Rancher

Hey yall , I have a bone stock rancher 2x4 ' 03 , I like to hunt , mud bog , trail ride , fish , and play around in sand pits and ride wheelies . DOes it hurt it to ride a wheelie ? I mean someone told me it will wear some seal out by doing it ? other wise i know the wear n tear thats being put on it. I was wondering if I should go with a ITP 589 for the rear ? I do ride rodes unfortinitaly but thats to get from trail to trail. I was also thinging for the trails to put a set of handguards on it. I was wondering what eles will help me on the trails and in the back woods ? thanks

I to have a 2003 Red 4/2 Rancher, great ATV. I haven't found anyplace it wouldn't go. I have even climbed sand dunes, using stock tires. To be honest I don't particulary look to get it stuck. I did change the stock air cleaner for a K&N seems to make a difference.--Mike

well, in THEORY riding wheelies shouldnt hurt that much, unless you do it all the time. The dry sump oil design lets the engine operate at different angles. That's how they make 4-stroke personal watercrafts. BUT, i wouldn't try to ride a wheelie more than a few feet, just to be safe.

Just sold a 2003 rancher 4x4 that had 8500 miles in it. after the stock tires wore out at about 4700 miles i replaced all 4 tires with ITP589 I had about 1/2" of tread left when I sold the bike. The were good tires a bit stiff but they held up great. Also I went with stock rims except for the front I changed out so all tires were the same size25"
Great bike and they are tanks. Go anywhere, do anything, nothing will stop them
Also if ya do the wheely on the hard roads youll only wear out the back tires
For mud and hard trails they are great. They are not my first choice for snow as they tend to bite hard and bury themselves fast. At least the stock tires would glide over snow instead of just digging in.
We of course are talking deep snow. Snow under 12" they worked great
