Trailblazer 250 counterbalance
#2
Is it the 400 or the 250? The 250 has no counter balance, The 400 has one there is a dipstick on the back of the motor under the carb it has a screwdriver end on it. The drain is on the bottom of the motor. The 250 has no oil in the crankcase. Hope this helps.

Matthew... A two stroke is lubricated by the OIL INJECTOR mixing oil into the gas and into the carb and then into the cylinder. If you have no OIL INJECTION or the unit blocked off then you would be mixing your oil into your gas and then into your gas tank.

Thank you, I have a 250 trailblazer and a 400 scrambler. So, the 250 has no counterbalance and does not require any fluid besides the 2 stroke oil to lubricate the crank?
If that's the case, why do the 400's have a counterbalance that I thought I read somewhere help to lubricate the crankcase?
I'm getting dizzy

the 400 would have a bad vibration with out the counter balance. The oil is to lube the bearing for the counter balance. The 2 stroke oil in the 400 still lubes the crank bearings. The 400 also has a redcage an the 250 dosen't.
