Dumb Question - I know

I just bought a 2001 Polaris Scrambler 90 and am not sure which way to turn the lever to turn the gass off to the carb (carb is leaking from the bottom).

Dumb Question - I know

Typically off should be perpendicular to the fuel line or parallel with the ground depending on where the petcock is. It should say on the petcock also. Then again you petcock may only have on and reserve.
