If you have the double tube bumper then you need a special mounting plate that attaches right to the bumper "brackets". A regular mounting won't work. The Tube bumper is a lot beefier then the regular mount any ways. Just installed mine a couple of weeks ago hooked up really nice and easy. Jay

Mines a 2000 model so I don't know if it has changed drastically. The cable will run through the mount and then through the fairlead. So the mounting plate actually mounts in between the winch and the tubes. The bumper definately adds a lot of strength to the fairlead. Jay

PolarisBoy2, where did you find the winch mount for your winch and what kind of winch do you have. I had an A2000 on my 03 sp500 but that bracket won't fit my new Warn 3.0ci?

You can Not put a Warn 3.0 winch in the GEN4 Polaris Double tube bumper. The Bumper has a permanent Welded on Roller Fairlead bracket that is in the set location for a Warn 2000 or 2500 winches. You can also just bairley fit the Ramsey ATV2500 or ATV3000 winch in there. There is also a special Mount plate made for the Bumper.
