BEST QUAD OVERALL??????? Raptor 700 2006 Model
#1
I am from the mid michigan area when half the year we have cold weather. Cold weather starts are very important to the buyers here. The 700 Raptor's EFI is perfect. I have had no problems with all the 700 Raptors sold where I work and they havent had a recall yet (unlike the 660 in 2001). This quad is the real deal. If any one has any thoughts let know. I had a 700 sit out all winter in the snow and it never hesitated to start regardless of temp. I am very pleased with yamis new quad.

I just got a 700 raptor,, I live in wisconsin and a few times this winter I took it out on the ice and this thing seems like it does not like cold weather at all , it takes a real long time to warm up, it does not start as easy as I would expect being fuel injected.

they are very nice quads, built strong and fast. though not what i would buy in my position. would love to have a 700 if i were out in the dunes.
good luck with your quad

Try letting it warm for 5 min or so.....the unit is auto choked by th EFi so it may seem ruff to ride until operating temp is reached. However it did always start in cold weather correct??????

Yes it did always start, and your right it must idle for a while before you can ride off, it's not like my fuel injected motorcycle where I can just ride instantly away.
