Default Outlander 800 - No ECM Communication

I have an outlander 800 which for the most part has been great. I have been getting the error
message NO ECM COMMUNICATION - tach does not work, engine sounds like it's missing.
I have yet to take it in for the 10 hours service, only have 7 hours on her. Takes a long time to warm up in
the moring when I use the snow plow, then get this message. I have to turn her off, and wait, then turn her
back on. Usually that takes care of it.

Does anyone have any information on this problem. I called the dealer, and they want me to bring it in, which I will but
I would like to know what is going on before I do so.

To answer my own question :
If you have a Bombardier 800 xt with the warn winch. There is a diode which needs to be replaced, and this is a warranty
issue which they will fix.

There is also an ECM update that the dealer needs to download on BUDS. The machine will have a fault code P0600 which is a communication error. The ECM update and the winch solenoid relay are the two things your dealer needs to do on your machine. Both jobs together take about 1/2 hour total to complete.
