Whats everyone thoughts on the Grizzly VS the Sportsman 700 EFI?

 

My cousin has a grizzly and its fast and all around a good quad. My friend doesnt have a 700 but has a 800 sportsman. Its much faster but i think i would prefer the grizzly even though its slower. I like yamahas 4x4 a lot more than polaris is the 800 has gotten stuck many times where the grizzly made it through easily.

 

The SP 700 is a boat anchor compared to the Griz. The griz isn't as big and clumbsy and the yamaha tranny is alot better then the popo.

 

I just sold my Grizzly and bought a Sportsman 800 and I hate it

the back end is all over the place, and today I got a flat on the same trails that I road my Grizz on a thosand times.
and I never got a flat on those tires.

I know a flat happens, but I sure aint happy with the Polaris at all, even the revese over ride button is a Pain in the you know what, if you dont push the button, it only 2 wheel drive, the Grizz is awd as soon as ya put it in gear forwd or reverse.

Just need to Vent, I cant wait til the Grizzly comes with EFI, gonna trade that Polaris right in, I will lose some money, but hey thats life.

 

Sorry bout your bad luck man. I can't wait till the 800 Griz comes out. And i will never own another polaris. Thats for sure.

 

GLAD YOU ASK, I HAVE AN 06 GRIZ, MY BUDDY HAS AN 05 POLARIS 700 SPORTSMAN, HIS TIRE POPPED OFF THE RIM WHEN HE RAN INTO A ROCK, ITS HEAVY-SLOW AND BEATS THE HELL OUT OF HIM FROM THE STIFF BOWLEGGED SUSPENSION. IN THE WOODS HE CAN,T HANG, THE GRIZ JUST FLOATS THROUGH AND OVER TERRAIN LIKE ITS A BLACK TOP ROAD. THE POLARIS SEEMS TO RUN GOOD, I CAN'T SAY THAT ONE IS FASTER THAN THE OTHER, BUT HANDS DOWN THE REPUTATION OF THE GRIZZLY IS THE BETTER CHOICE. I DEBATED WHICH QUAD TO BUY AND AFTER I ROAD HIS VERSES MINE. I DEFINITLY MAD A GOOD DECISION.
