Default 05 500HO Clutch Problems

Some of you might remember awhile back I wrote in saying I was burning belts. Well I got it checked out and my primary clutch was shot. The EBS wore into my clutch sheave(only 900 miles on it). I guess that made it not grab the belt properly or something like that. They told me it was from not using low when I should have been(whatever)and there was no warranty on it. They put on a 2006 500 EFI clutch. they said the EBS setup was better on it. Everything seems to be working fine so far, but before I took it in I noticed that when I put it nuetral and revved it up it would hesitate at about 4000 rpm for a second then rev upto the max. When I got it home I tried it again and it still does that, and I don't think that is normal. My brother has a 2000 Sp 500 and I tried the same thing with it and it revs smoothly from idle to the max, no hesitations. Has anyone experienced this before or heard of it and if so what is it? Could it be a problem in the secondary? I am just afraid that I am going to have belt problems again and again. I ride with alot of non Polaris riders (so you know how that goes).

Yes, it was doing that before they looked at it. No, it is not EFI

Inspect your secondary look for the same grooving that the primary had. Are the primary cluthes set up with the same weight spring combination?
