Good job.

Ride it like you stole it. Just don't hold the throttle wide open for more than 20 sec's. at a time -- otherwise tear it up.

If you are new to quads be careful.

Have fun!

Ride it for awhile and you will see that the 330 is way under powered aka underclutched. You will be able to fix this with a new primary spring($20-$30)Other than that they are great machines that hold up very well.

under clutched? replace it with a new primary spring oem? an aftermarket one? how many hours of riding will the primary clutch spring be noticable that it needs replacing huh? thanks for the heads up.

I have a 06 TB also, a very good quad, have had no problems and will go anywhere I want it to go! it hangs with all the big 4x4s and good in the tight trails through the woods and all! You couldnt get a better quad for the money!

oh yeah thats what i'm expecting too. to ride it and have great fun. figure if there's anything it needs just replace with oem. thats what i do with every machine i have. vehicles, motorcycles, jetski's. its always good to read up also on previous posts what's up with these machines also.previous posts talk about the systoms and the diagnosis and remedies. ive rented the 05 trail blazer a few times and have had absolutely no problems with it. trail blazer is great dude. everyone at the camp site always want to use my rented trail blazer. thats a bad *** machine. looks great stock too

When you want to get a little more speed or topend rpms EPI makes a pink primary spring that works great.I went with that one after climbing a hill and the 330 powered out close to the top.A Polaris white spring(stock 400 Scrambler primary spring) works good too but raises the engagment up a little(the rpm where the quad starts to move)
What I mean by underclutched is Polaris uses a clutch setup in stock machines that make them where your granny can ride them and not be intemidated. The clutch is where most of the extra power is hidden.

you know i went riding today and it was great. my 2006 330 trailboss thumped up them verticals. suspension was very good and very comfortable ride. you know it just seemed so under powered for a 329 cc motor though. as you were saying ftwflh replacing that main clutch spring huh will improve the performance huh? as you said that clutch spring installed on the atv is for all around user's huh? it felt like it was slow to raise them rpm's from a stand still. over all im a happy rider. the machine performed flawlessly. very good brakes too for them downhill verticals.

I have an 05' Trail Boss and I love it. Now you have to realize, this is a utility quad, not a racing quad. Mine rides great in the trails and pulls through the mud quite well.

Have fun and ride save!

that is so true blazer25. you know ftwflh has a valid point in saying that even my grandparents will not feel intemidated while using it. which makes sense too.
