Default Exhaust for Raptor 700???

I recently bought a raptor 700, but I want to know which is the best exhaust to use. I want something with full range power and something that sounds good, but not too loud. Also, do I need to get any other accessories in order to have a new exhaust system. I'd appreciate any info. Thanks

my 700's got a GYT-R set up on itand it works great. It sounds GREAT and is a nice up in power from stock(not huge but definately noticable)... Yamaha advertizes a 13% increase over stock without the filter kit and 30% with. This is without an EFI controller... so I'm slightly skeptical about their numbers but I'd guess that the full system, with the filter kit will run probably a 20-25% increase over stock but will slightly lean it out. Maybe the GYT-R stuff is designed to be within the range of where the stock EFI can handle without running too lean... maybe not.

Welcome to the site!......There are many nice pipes (and no bad ones really) to choose from. I prefer HMF but would consider Curtis Sparks, LTE duals, CT, Trinity, and LRD. Probably some others I'm forgetting to mention as well. Even with just a pipe you really should have an EFI controller installed because the factory EFI don't compensate enough for mods, just altitude changes. To get the MOST out of your pipe, install a Pro-Flow K&N (or equivlent) and remove the air box lid..............but either way, you really do need an EFI controller.
