Default running lean?

hey guys, i bought a 97 warrior for $900 bucks last weekend. the exhaust studs were broken off, so i fixed that yesterday and put my new holeshots on it and went for a ride in a sand pit today. im happy with the power and its a fun quad. only problem im having with it is it backfires a little on deacceleration. it has a cobra exhaust. theres still a tiny leak where the header mounts to the head and the header doesnt tighen up all the way, it still jiggles around after the 2 bolts are tight. just wondering if an exhaust gasket would fix that leak or how else i could fix it. im thinking its a little lean because it backfires a little and i think it has stock main jet. what size main jet is in there and what size should i go to? thanks

Fix your exhaust leak and more than likely the backfire will go away.
BTW good score. They are fun quads.
