predator or yfz450
i currently have a pred, but its kind of heavy but it has lots of power, i was wondering if i should switch to either the yfz 450 or trx 450... are the 450 as powerful, reliable, is it a good overall switch..?

No stick with the pred! I have a ds which smokes them all out of the wholeshot and everything. I have done alot of racing with all the sport quads and it goes like this.(of course it depends on your mods)

As for the topic starter, If racing is in your future so is a 450 class machine.
"My" choice would be the TRX450R. The famous Honda reliability and handling is why.I raced a stock motored TRX at the Texac GNC. It had more power than I needed. I raced a modded TRX at the Cali GNC. Since you said "wholeshot", Im assuming you're talking MX. So you're telling us that a DS, Pred, and Rappy would make better MXer's than 450's?

I get amused by those lists. Especially when the person replying always owns the quad at the top of the list. Funny thing about that list, the one at the top is usually the one at the bottom where we run at.
