Has anyone put a venom winch on a Grizzly? The reason I ask is I've heard the model specific mounts don't exactly fit some ATVs very well.

 

Hi. Put one on my grizzly it was a perfect fit right out of the box.

 

How do you like that venom winch? How do you think it compares to a warn or superwinch? They have them things very cheap on ebay and they even come with the mount. my buddy is thinking about getting one but is not sure how it will hold up.

 

I just ordered one for my grizz on thursday. I heard they worked just fine. I'll give u an update once i recieve it...

 

How does this winch perform for plowing or pulling friends out of the mud? I found a venom 3000lb winch for the kodiak/bruin shipped for 182 on ebay. Complete w/ mounting bracket. If this winch works well for people I see no reason for me not to get it and save the 100+ in comparison to a warn, not to mention the extra 500lb capacity. Anyone else use a venom winch?

 

This was the first winch I ever bought so I cant compare it to any other. I will say the few times I have used it I had no problems with it. The install was very easy and everything fit nice and clean.
