All right I'm gonna let everyone in on the secret way to have a leakfree sleeved big bore with the copper gasket-PL400 constuction adhesive, it seals but lets things move a smidgen with expansion. You may be on to something here. The trouble with construction adhesive is that it is only flexible for a few months. Vulkum might be a better compound. Don't you have to eliminate the o-ring to use the cometic?

 

No, quite a few of us have used the gasket without taking out the o-ring...im running over a year with mine with the 13 1/2 to 1 piston, several of the guys are running big shots of nos with it also without a failure yet.....but time will tale...
