Default maxxis irazr

Is it safe to run smaller tires on a scrambler 4x4?I want to try irazr 21-7-10 front and 20-11-10 rear...if i kepp 1 inch taller in the front it should be ok,right?.

yes, as long as you keep that difference you should be fine.

someone will probably tune in and tell about a personal experience, to give you a true statement of yes or no.

I ordered the tires threw my dealer this morning,the couldnt find them in the catalog at first...they were with the cheng chin tires in both of the catalogs.Are these made by cheng chin for maxxis or what???

I just ran into this same problem and canceled my order on the Maxxis Razr. I kept the same size rim and went with the Kenda Klaw because when you engage the 4x4 what will happen to your traction with the Maxxis, not much.

Found great pricing on another site, but not sure if I'm allowed to post or not. entire kit was less than 550.00 (4 tires/4 rims itp c-series polished)

i buy these tires for the hardpacked stuff.i dont use the 4x4 except in winter.do you like your new kenda klaw?are they stock size?

The environment that I'm in calls for the 4x4 50% of the time and that's the reason I went with them. The Kenda's are stock size and great and I am keeping my older tires/wheels for the occasional "road trip" on harder surfaces.
