I was wondering if my 700 raptor would beat a banshee. The banshee has pipes, air filter, Razor tires and air box. On my raptor I have a GYTR slip-on, GYTR pro flow air filter, and GYTR air box other than that stock. The race would be on hard dirt and we are both about the same size rider(6 ft, about 140 LB).

 

If the race is going to be on hard dirt, I don't think you'll have a problem beating the banshee. Reason..........the banshee is gonna spin like a **** trying to find traction while you grab traction and go. Take it to the asphalt and I think you'll have your hands full.

 

i agree, it mainly depends on terrain and tires.

 

I know this is probably a crazy idea but...Have you considered just racing him? I mean, if everyone on here told you the Banshee would smoke you, you would still race him, right?

 

I would race him now but the trails are still closed up here in Northern Maine. They don't open until May 15. And yea if they did say that he would beat me i would still race just to see how bad.

I think the raptor will win becauce a raptor will have more top end power off the start

the 700 raptors are just too slow if you want to race the banshee sell it and get a 450

 

450's are overrated!
