My Shee is running like crap. It acting like its hitting a rev-limiter at about 5000 RPM, it backfiring, won't idle, and it has no power. I've checked everything, i've disassembled the carbs and cleaned them, theres brand new plugs in it, and the air filter is clean. I'm stumped because I'm usually able to fix the problem whatever it is. I'm thinkin it's the CDI box, or a bad crank seal. Please Help me!!!!

 

have ya check the coil? by the way u know the torque specs for a head and a cylinder? for a 2006 banshee

the coil is good, and I'm not that stupid to leave the parking brake on!

 

yea.. i'm not either... mine would move enough when riding or parked to engage... check it..

 

it has to be something wrong in the ignition or the internal motor

 

My problem has a new twist, when the atv is cold, it runs like a bat-outa-hell, after it runs for about 30 seconds, it runs like crap again!

 

sounds like ur float?

 

imean choke!!! ur choke is stuck i had the same problem

 

but its pushed all the way in!
