Default DRag Race! 700 cat EFI vs 800 Polaris 800 EFI

My chum and I decided to drag race our machines, his cat 700 vs my pol 800. From a dead stop i would take him every time. from a 5 tp 10 mph roll we would be even up to 40 or 50mph then I would pull away. that Cat has some serious mid range. If cat could get rid of the bottom end lag or hesitation, it would be a different race. the Top speed of the new Cat 700 is 68mph on dry pavement. measured with a GPS, my Polaris is 71mph but gets there alot quicker.

they put that lag on the bottom end i guess to keep people that aren't used to atv's from going over backwards kinda stinks for the rest of us though. and well i guess i knew the 800 POO would take the 700 cat but then again you got andother 60 cc's over the 700.

They must have slacked in the power department on the new 700 efi. My 06 650V2 beats my buddies sp700 all the way through the powerband
