You can start with the standard stuff, a good pipe, filter ( maybe get that clamp on adapter,a lot better than the foam and grease seal set up Yamaha came up with.) Maybe a modded air box lid, or get the Outerwears cover for max air flow. Then jet up to make up for the increased air flow, and it will wake it up pretty nice. Pipe, filter, and jets would run about 300 or so,depending on what you buy and where you buy it. Remember, any Warrior exhaust will work for you, if you have a buddy that is selling an aftermarket setup from a Warrior, it will bolt right up.Another thing that frees up extra horsepower for the rear wheels is the Warn 424, then you can disconnect the front end and really make it slide around corners, and put all the power to the rear end. Any more than that, and you will need to go into the motor, cams, bigger, higher comp pistons, porting, etc.

what would it look like with a set of nerf bars? I was reading some reviews and some guy had an 04 wolverine with nerf bars. would that be useless or would it help out with footing? and im pretty sure im gonna go ahead and get the 424 select since my birthday is coming up and that is the most expensive thing. and thanks for the good information it helps alot!
