yfz 450 jetting question

how many rounds out should you run the fuel mixture screw, i put a dynojet jet kit in my 06 yfz and it said only one round out, and last night i put a gytr jet kit in my friends o6 yfz and it said run it 3-4 rounds out, what do you think?

Ideally you want to be somewhere between 1.5 and 3 turns out. Even then 3 turns may be a bit far. 4 turns out is to close to falling out[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

who all is using dyno jet jet kits? someone please tell me ur settings and if it hauls *****...mine halls ***, but it dont haul *****...i need some help, such as ur needle position, jet number and where ur located, im at 1100 feet in oklahoma

2 turns is the universal setting so you might want to try 2 and a quater to three turns, the best way to find out best setting is to run the machine, when it's idleing turn the air gas mixture screw out until the machine idles high the screw slowly back in until you get the machine to idle back normally, it's normally about an eighth turn in after you get the machine to idle high. This will set the mixture really really damn close
