i have a 1994 kodiac that will back fire as to a compression release sound when you shut it off. was wondering if adjusting valves would help, dont know when it was done last, also a little to start when it gets hot. can somebody help tring to get ready for the jamboree at west virgina the last of the month. thanks

ah i wouldnt worry too much about it, its a old quad and old quads do weird things, somone told me that i should leave to bike in neutral for about a minut before i shut it off and it will no do that but i think its just natural all my friends older kodiaks do it
